Denny Davies is an ex-baseball player with a World Series ring that he uses to gain his own radio talk show. He is neighbors with the Wolfmeyers, who he has been at odds with over a new housing development that has been proposed. When Mr. Wolfmeyer doesn't come home, Mrs. Wolfmeyer assumes the worse and goes off the deep end, much to the consternation of her 4 daughters. Denny moves in to become drinking buddy, confidant, and hopeful romantic interest to Terry. A cute movie for the older members of your family.
