Emily meets Oliver on a flight to New York by inviting him to join the "mile high club" seemingly at random. After their encounter on the plane Oliver joins Emily for drinks at a friends bar. They make a wager that in 6 years he would be a successful business man. What follows is a series of encounters over the introveaning years btween Emily and Oliver as they travel through the various stages of their lives. After 6 years has passed they both realize, seperately, that they have feelings for each other.
