Jack Slavin and his daughter Rose are all that is left of an early 70's hippie commune off the coast of New England. They have a deep relationship that borders on the bizarre. Unfortunately Jack is dying and he feels that he has some unfinished business to attend to. When Jack's secret girlfriend, Kathleen, suddenly moves in with her two boys, Thaddius and Rodney, all hell breaks loose in the household.
