Lincoln Six Echo lives in a closed utopian facility with the ambition of making it to the Island. The Island is reported to be the last uncontaminated place on earth. However, after meeting Jordan Two Delta their view of their exsistance will soon change. You see these two humans are clones of others outside this closed facility. These clones are here to provide their "owners" with spare parts, surrogate parenthood, and even full-body replacement for the wealthier clientele. But these two have questioned their existance and are on the run. A remake of the mid-70's classic, these Bad News Bears are a collection of ethically diverse misfits. There new coach is Morris Buttermaker who is an alcoholic pest control worker who was a former professional baseball player for a short time. He is recruited to take over this team that is close to being thrown out of the league. Although Buttermaker has the social skills of a fencepost, he has brought this diverse team together to make a run for the championship after everyone, including themselves, had counted them out. This coming of age film is based in the 70's as we follow five friends in their journey through adolesence. X is the ring leader who is struggling with the loss of his mother while his father searches for work. Kings of the local roller rink, X and his friends are left out on the street when their local hangout closes down. When they migrate to the Sweetwater Roller Rink they find that thier undeveloped talents are no match for the regulars here.
