Ben is a school teacher that meets Lindsay while on a field trip with his students. After being harrassed by his students, Ben asks Lindsay out for a date. Not wanting another short term relationship, she turns him down. But later Lindsay reconsiders, and everything is progressing fine until baseball season starts. With the first pitch, Ben turns into the ultimate Red Sox fan that moves his relationship with Lindsay to the back burner. She must decide if she is willing to become a baseball widow during the season.
