Derek Vinyard played by Edward Norton, falls under the spell of neo-NAZI man and very quickly climbs to the top of the ladder. When some black men try to vandalize Derek's house and car, he murders one of them in a fit of rage. While in prison he learns the error of his ways, and understands that everyone deserves the same chances. Finally out of prison he now must change the mind of his brother before it too late.
