Libby Parson is a young woman with a seemingly happy marriage until one night she wakes to find a boat full of blood, her husband missing and herself holding a knife. She is soon indicted for the crime. Instead of breaking out a cellmate tells her she would be better off to wait for parole and take advantage of double jeopardy, being charged for a crime only once. Soon she is paroled and released to a halfway house. Shortly after she escapes to find the people who set her up and exact her revenge.
