On there way back from a deep space mission, the crew of the Nostromo is awakened from hyper-sleep by a SOS signal from a nearby planet. After landing and investigating, they find that the signal was meant to be a warning. One of the crew descends to the strange ship where the signal seems to be coming from. What he finds are thousands of alien eggs. After being attacked by a hatched egg the crew takes off for earth. What they dont know is the alien parasite is not dead, rather growing inside a host.
