Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst, has just been promoted to Deputy Director of Intelligence for the CIA. A power struggle within the Colombian drug cartel after one of the President's close friends is murdered is Jack's first task. When Jack finds evidence of illegal covert ops, and the fact that the president approved them, he sees that Americans were left in Colombia after the mission. Now Jack must try to rescue the men while not being killed by the Colombians and find out how deep this cover up goes.
