Don Alejandro de la Vega has tried to hang up his mask for the past 10 years while him and his wife Elena have settled in the routine of married life beginning a family with their son Joaquim. However the tug of his alternate existance as Zorro is still alive and causes a fair amount of friction between him and his wife. Eventually the conflict comes to a head and Elena leaves Alejandro fuming. Soon events transpire that might effect the very existance of California bringing Zorro out to save the day yet again.
