Dr Reed Richards is a world reknowned scientist searching for the origin of life. Him and his friend Ben Grimm approach billionare Victor Von Doom to use his space station research facility to study a mysterious space cloud. Joining them is geneticist Sue Storm and her brother Johnny. The 5 arrive at the station expecting hours to prepare, but when the cloud is closer than they expected, all aboard are affected by this strange phenomena. When they are back on Earth their lives are changed in ways they would never imagine.
