Ralph Kramden and his best friend Ed Norton have blown their wad trying to get rich quick. Everything from buying a Pullman train car to trying to race an abandoned greyhound at the local track. Through it all, Ralph and Ed's wives have been able to put enough away to purchase a nice duplex in the suburbs. But when Ralph tries to this nest egg to make up to his wife for everything he has lost, and ends up loosing the money and his wife, Ralph must do everything he can to get her back.
