This is a collection of short stories that chronical the lives of three separate families that live on the same street. One story tells of an overbearing father that must deal with a son he hardly knows after his wife dies. Another is about a family crumbling apart from adultry and dealing with a son's gay lifestyle. And finally, and old cantankerous father is at the end of his life when his lawyer son comes home to show his father that he did fulfill his father's expectations for success.
