It is 2013 and the aftermath of World War 3 is the lack of technology as a whole. Civilization is in chaos and the masses search for hope. A drifter finds some discarded mail and delivers it in hope of gaining a meal. What he discovers is a town that is so happy to receive any word of the outside world that, what started out as a con makes a life of it's own. The Postman starts delivering mail to other settlements, rebuilding conections to society. A rogue gang doesn't like the new threat to their power and tries to shut the Postman down.
