Steve Prefontaine is a young distance runner at the University of Oregon. He made a name for himself by breaking records at distances that only European runners have been able to set. Steve was also known for his self-centered universe in which he lived life his way and necessarily how a top athlete might. Partnering with the mythical creator of Nike running shoes and running coach Bill Bowerman, Steve excelled in his training.
