Detective Nick Curran finds former rock star and nightclub owner Johnny Boz's body in his bed. Clues lead them to prime suspect Catherine Trammell a sexy and manipulative novelist who used to date Johnny. The plot thickens when the police find out the murder was copied exactly from one of Catherine's novels. As Nick becomes more involved not only with the case but with the prime suspect Catherine Trammell, he begins to drink again and everyone seems to be a suspect. Starring: Michael Douglas as Det.
