Frank Towns flys in and shuts down the oil rig run by Kelly. Kelly, her crew, and their equipment are flying home with Frank at the wheel. Encountering a massive dust storm, Frank elects to fly around it. But they get swallowed up and end up crash landing in the middle of the desert, killing several in the process. With limited supplies, an ecentric plane designer convinces the crew to build a new plane from the carcass of the old. Facing hunger, thirst, and bandits the crew races against time to get out alive.
