This time out the Griswolds are headed for Las Vegas. Clark has received a bonus for a food preservative he developed and with the money decides to take his family on a vacation. Once again the Griswold family is tested in their love for each other. Ellen finds that she is that she is the light in the eye of Wayne Newton, Clark manages to lose all their money gambling, Rusty not yet 21 hits a hot streak using a fake ID and Audrey finds herself with cousin Vickie dancing at some interesting night clubs.
