Based on a true story, Frank Dux trained his entire life by Tanaka, a man whose house he broke into as a child. With Tanaka very ill Frank goes to see him, and decides to participate in the Kumite to honor his shidoshi. This event is the most dangerous fighting event in the world, some get badly injured and some get killed.
