Intermission is 11 different stories that show how the break up of one relationship can affect the lives of everyone around them. One of the people is a young thief named Lehiff. He is going for one more big score in efforts to set his life straight. Then there's John who quits his job at a supermarket to join Lehiff, as he tries to win back the love of Deirdre. Deirdre heartbroken from the break up, moves in with a married man, whose wife will have a crucial effect on the heist.
