set in New Mexico in 1886, Samuel Jones, a father, returns home to make peace decades after abandoning her to live with the Apache. He finds when he gets home that his daughter is ready to forgive him for what he has done, and kicks him back out on the road. Soon after her daughter is kidnapped and her man friend killed, by a band of outlaw army deserters, led by an Apache Shaman. Jones is then brought back togethe with his daughter in order to save the life of his grandaughter.
