45 year old George Monroe has lost sight of his dreams. He lives in a shack and works tirelessly as an architect. Then one day his entire life changes. He is fired from his job and diagnosed with a terminal illnes, and has only 4 months to live. George vows that he will fulfill his lifelong dream to build his dream house. He hires his 16 year old son to help him for the summer. What takes place is not only the transformation of a relationship between father and son, but George touching the lives of everyone he encounters.
