Kate is a modern day woman, an executive driven to succeed in corporate america. Kate's ex-boyfriend, Stuart, lives in the apartment directly above her's. One day Stuart finds a place near the Brooklyn Bridge where there is a gap in time. He decides to venture out and finds himself in the year 1870. Taking pictures he is noticed by a local man named Leopold who follows him back to 21st century New York. Learning about his new surroundings Leopold must now confront a love affair 100 years in the making.
