In the third millenium, judges take the place of your everyday police officer, these judges have the power to charge, find guilty, and sentence any criminal they arrest on the spot. Judge Dredd is the most famous of the judges he is also the favorite of the head council, but there is evil lurking, riots, an escape of a dangerous criminal, all lead to Dredd being falsely convicted of a crime. Leaving a wake of destruction in his path Dredd teams up with a prisoner who he convicted, to clear his name.
