In the ghetto of Harlem respect is all you have, if you dont have it you might not make it. One day 4 teenage boys, Q, Raheem, Bishop and Steel, are skipping school when they learn of an old friend who was killed in a shootout. Bishop tells his friends that if they don't get respect that might happen to them. So they rob a corner store in attempts to get their Juice(respect). After the robbery they run into an alley where Raheem demands the gun from Bishop but a scuffle breaks out and Raheem gets shot.
