Scientists have found a way to bring dinosaurs back to life. There DNA has been found in insects encased in amber. A wealthy entrepeneur named John Hammond takes this information and secretly builds an amusement park on an island where dinosaurs live once again. He asks to dinosaur experts to come to the island as consultants. But their first ride through the park soon turns to terror, as dinosaurs begin escaping and destroying the park.
