John Brown is an inept security gaurd who after an accident is left in critical condition. Brenda, a robotic surgeon thinks he is the perfect candidate for a top secret law enforcement project. He is rebuilt into a man of many talents and accessories. He uses these grafted on gizmos to bust the bad guys. Gadget must now use his common sense to crack a very complicated case, where he infiltrate the cities darkest underworld to capture the infamous claw.
