Willie(Billy Bob Thornton) and Marcus(Tony Cox) are two conmen who dress up as Santa and his little helper during the holidays. When they get jobs being mall Santa's, they case and then rob the place. Willie a drunk is beginning to get on his partners nerves, showing up late, showing up drunk, menatally abusing the children. When Willie meets and 8 year old kid who's passion for Christmas rivals the real Santa's. Willie now feels he must change his ways and give this kid the Christmas he has never had.
