Sam Dawson is a mentally challenged father, he has the mental capacity of a seven year old. Sam is raising his daughter with the help of a wonderful group friends. When his daughter turns seven and begins to surpass her father's mental capacity, a social worker finds out and their tight bond becomes threatened. With the help of Rita Harrison, a high powered attorney, Sam vows to fight the system until he gets his daughter back.
