Daniel Malloy is a radio producer who is going to interview, Louis, who is a vampire. Louis begins the story in the 18th century when he was bitten by Lestat, a very powerful vampire, and became a vampire himself. At first Louis explains how he enjoyed the life, but after time he is unable to get used to the killing of humans. Lestat creates a little girl vampire for him, who cannot age anymore, but Louis knows he must go his own way sooner or later.
