Lt. Daniel Kaffee is a navy lawyer who has never seen the inside of a courtroom. He has a track record of plea bargaining his cases. He is then assigned to defend two young marines for murder. While doing some detective work to try arrange a plea bargain he discovers some facts that may suggest the two are innocent. But with no proof he will have to take on one of the most respected colonels in the army in the place where it could hurt him the most, in court. Starring: Tom Cruise as Lt.
