Det. John Hobbes is a relieved man, the brutal serial killer, Edgar Reese, has just been executed. But soon after, a string of murders similar to those of Reese's seem to suggest that he is out there still killing. With the help of a beautiful theosophist and his partner John figures out that what could be murdering these people is the fallen angel Azazel, who can travel between bodies.
