Robert Dean, a labor lawyer, unknowingly is giving the only evidence to a political murder. The government knowing he has it makes his life miserable, they get him fired, ruin his reputation, and frame him for various incidents. In hopes to get his life back he teams up with Bill a former federal employee who for the last many years has been living in somewhat of a cave, with no phone or wires offering a way for the outside world to get in. They must now work together in hopes of getting their lives back.
