Eight Men Out Visit | Rate | Error
Eight Men Out explores one of the darkest moments in baseball history. The black sox scandal of 1919 began with players that were fed up with there penny pinching owner. Gamblers noticing this decide to take advantage and offer some players money to throw the world series. The players agree but as the game begins, shoeless Joe Jackson and Buck Weaver change their minds and try to win which they almost do. a few years later the story comes out and the sox are sued. Found innocent by a jury, all eight players are suspended for life by baseball.
