Jackie Kallen, the daughter of a trainer, at 36 years of age is now ready to take the boxing world by storm. When at a bar one night to belittle her the midwest's boxing kingpin Sam LaRocca sells her one of his fighters contract for one dollar, and thats all he's worth. She goes to meet him anyway but finds his drug dealers enforcer, Luther Shaw, beating him up. She recognizes his talent immediately. After bailing him out of jail she turns him into a great prize fighter as well as her into the best female manager in boxing history.
