Airplane! (1980) Visit | Rate | Error
Robert Hays stars as Ted Striker, an ex-navy pilot who has had a deep fear of flying since the incident in the war. When his longtime girlfriend Elaine Dickinson, a stewardess at Trans American Airlines dumps him, Ted boards a plane in an attempt to get her back. As everyone on the plane is becoming ill due to food poisining, Ted seems to be the only one with piloting experience who is not sick. With a crew too sick to land a plane and an air traffic controller who has a drug problem, Ted is expected to land the plane before people start dying. A spin-off of the popular American Pie series, Band Camp follows Stifler's younger brother Matt. The younger Stiffler is just as foul mouthed and vulger as his older brother and likes to pick on the members of the band corps. When he is caught preying on yet another helpless band geek, Matt is sentanced to attend band camp as his punishment. However, Matt decides that he is going to expand on the popular "Girls Gone Wild" series to make a feature called "Bandies Gone Wild". Once again though, Matt is caught and must pay for his actions. After being wrondly accused of assualt aboard an airplane. Mild mannered Dave Buznik is sentenced by the court to attend anger management classes. These classes run by Dr. Buddy Rydell, are filled with very disturbed people, Dave believes he does not belong with. When another mishap occurs the Judge orders his therapy stepped up. Dr. Rydell's unorthodox style involves lewd comments about dave's girlfriend, making him confront everyone he's ever butted heads with among other things. In the end could this be just what the doctor ordered.
