Henry Roth is a veterinarian at an aquarium in Hawaii. He is single and very much enjoys the company of vacationing women, but he is looking for something more fulfilling. One day while at a restaurant he finds it, a beautiful woman whom he must talk to. He then finds out that this woman has short term memory loss, everday she starts over with no memory of the previous day. Now Henry must make her fall in love with him every day in hopes that one day she will remember. Darrell is a local DJ that does the basic weddings, parties and receptions. He offers to play at a the birthday party of an old friend Dolly who happens to be the daughter of a mafia boss. As the party progresses, Darrell unwittingly disrupts an attempt on the life of Dolly's father. Dolly's father is grateful and convinces Darrell that he should be Dolly's bodyguard.
