Anthony Swofford is a third generation US Marine recruit that is just entering boot camp. He is slated to be trained as an elite Marine sniper in preperation for the upcoming Desert Storm in Iraq. Staff Sgt. Sykes is a no-nonsense, Marine for life who recruited Swofford to be a sniper and is in charge of the elite Marine unit on their way to the Middle East. As they prepare for the impending invasion, the Marines wait for something - anything - to happen. Finally the war begins, but the Marines are left wondering about their impact. Darrell is a local DJ that does the basic weddings, parties and receptions. He offers to play at a the birthday party of an old friend Dolly who happens to be the daughter of a mafia boss. As the party progresses, Darrell unwittingly disrupts an attempt on the life of Dolly's father. Dolly's father is grateful and convinces Darrell that he should be Dolly's bodyguard. What ensues is an amuzing collection of situations where Darrell has women throwing themselves at his as he is trying to protect the mob bosses daughter.
